The Fitzwillian Inn on Route 119 in Fitzwilliam, NH, has re-opened for dinner. They’re offering music on Thursday and Saturdays nights, and Linq will be playing there on Thursday February 4th. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop on over.
The award-winning Royalston Open Mic Series continues on Friday February 5th, and Linq will be there. The show starts at 7PM at the Royalston Town Hall on the Common in the center of Royalston, MA, and is sponsored by the Royalston Cultural Council. Come on over and join an ever-changing mix of artists for a fun-filled evening. There is no admission charge, but donations are appreciated. Great refreshments will be available.
Linq will join Rene’ Lake-Gagliardi and friends at the Athol Open Mic Series on Friday, February 19th. It’s at Liberty Hall (downstairs), 584 Main St, Athol, and it starts at 7PM. Refreshments will be available, and proceeds will benefit the Memorial Hall Revitalization Fund.

David Byrne, “Pop Making Sense” entertainment writer for the Windy City Times, Chicago, IL, was one of three guests interviewed for the Dancing About Architecture “best of ‘09” podcast. Linq’s 2009 release Life Goes On is mentioned as one of his Top Ten albums of the year. David’s interview starts 34 minutes into Part One if you’d like to listen.
Linq is heading to the Institute for the Musical Arts (IMA) out in the Berkshires of Massachusetts on February 10th to record some new tracks in their new studio. This non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, performance and recording space for women in music is THE place for female musicians to check out: www.ima.org.
