CONGRATS TO THE 3 ISSA 2009 NOMINEES FROM WOMENS RADIO ...

I realized after the votes were counted that there were 3 nominees from the Womens Radio Music Review Network: Vanessa Pellon for Faith (Pop), Katie Costello for Inside Out (Folk), and yours truly, for Sawdust Sunlight, also in the folk category. It was a huge honor for the 3 of us to be nominated, and what a plug for Womens Radio talent! I have had the privilege of meeting Katie Costello at the IndieGrrrl conference in Nashville this past summer, have not yet had the honor of meeting Vanessa, but want to thank you for your shout out pre-ISSA-vote! I loved your song, and voice, and see why it was nominated. Katie, we've met briefly, but Inside Out (Session I) was also, well worth the nomination in my book. Soooo, here's kudos to all of us and a shout out to my fellow songcatchers out there .... Merry Christmas guys, hope Santa brings you all you want :) Phyllis
