About Me:

Hi! I'm Tatiana Maslak - producer of sintez - group «CHARIVNA».
I was born in Ukraine city Mariupol where the Sea of Azov exists.
During school years I was also student in Music Studio where I studied how to play piano, basics of music theory (solfegio) and chorus.
After graduating both schools I became a student of State Music Uchilishche of Mariupol where received Bachelor’s Degree in Music. During that time I was singing and performing with professional women’s groups «Azovchanka» and «Chaika». Also I played keyboard instrument with group «Stojari» on life performances. Finally I entered conservatory in city Kharkov where received Master’s Degree in Music. Then I was teaching in Music School and in Institute of Music.
Later I created women’s quartet «Charivna» where also performed. The group sang Ukrainian folk, modern and international songs. I wrote arrangements for the group.
We gave entertainments around the country, radio and TV production, were invited working in Ukrainian Concert Hall (Philharmonic organization), had performances in Germany, United States (Ukrainian Heritage month in Cincinnati and throughout the North America).
This is first Ukrainian group which mixed folk traditions with modern style. Participants of the group play accompaniment with acoustic instruments by themselves. This fact tells about their high class of education and big talent.
"Charivna" participated in different kinds of festivals, contests and concerts around the World. The group had awards and nominations in Ukrainian festival “Singing Vernissage” and international contest “Golden Trumpets”.
“Charivna” has huge inheritance of different kinds of songs. ART of the group brings positive development in Ukrainian and other different cultures.
