How did you first hear about WomensRadio Music Review?
Word of Mouth
How do you usually acquire reviews of your albums? Do you have to pay $$?
Usually, people send them to me when they are written. I don't pay money for them.
About Me:
I'm a full-service record producer and music industry consultant in Los Angeles. I started out in the music business when I was in high school, when I wrote, recorded, produced and sold my first single in the early '60s. I've been a staff songwriter for several major publishing companies and been signed to Columbia, Epic, RCA, Prince & Candix Records as an artist. I've worked in the studio with many great artists including Sam Cooke, Ricky Nelson, Ray Charles, Oleta Adams, Brian Wilson, Phil Spector, Johnny Rivers, etc. I recently co-produced Amy Kuney's debut CD, the highest rated indie CD in Music Connection Magazine and have just completed production on Nick Daugherty's debut CD. I'm currently in production with two acts and always on the lookout for talented artists I can work with. I was elected to Board of Governors of The Recording Academy (the Grammys) and served ten years as a board member and officer of the L.A. Chapter. I'm a past president of the Organization of Women in Music (OWIM) and have served as a Board of Directors member of LAWIM.
