How do you usually acquire reviews of your albums? Do you have to pay $$?

I'm just about to release my first album so I don't actually have a "usual" way yet :)

About Me:

Fairly new to songwriting and with my first album about to go to press, I am thrilled to find so much wonderful support "out there".
Been performing for years crossing paths with so many talented local songwriters and somehow felt I was one of them! Putting pen to paper & music to the moment right through to performing, recording, producing and releasing it was the next necessary (and fun) step!
