- Emma K Spence Singer, Songwriter, Pianist. Her seductive, soulful voice delivers her gift for rendering a story into song, telling of the wavering temperament of love. Her sensual piano sound is a melodic and passionate richness that will effortlessly shift your senses.
Emma K Spence born and raised in England to Jamaican parents would use her classical piano training to spend countless hours at the piano writing songs and singing.
After graduating from Brunel University. Emma's first demo which was self written, performed, arranged and produced in London took her to the USA and to showcase her songs on the piano for the late legendary Arif Mardin (1932 – 2006, producer and head of Manhattan label- producing Aretha Franklin and Norah Jones to name but a few), and Bruce Lundvall of Blue Note Records/President EMI Music amongst other industry heavyweights. Emma has an original and definitive musical style which makes her one of the UK’s most promising Artists.
This versatile Artist is also skilled at arranging music and songs on Logic audio "Because I have so much material I decided to set up another music product called 'Sounds of Substance' which is a mix of, Electronica,Dance,Dub,Film sound track music and experimental rhythms." For her more rhythmic music link to 'Sounds of Substance' in the top friends section.
